Don Force, 75, of Grants Pass, Ore., passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2009 in Grants Pass.
Don was born April 12, 1934 in Medford, Ore., to Paul and Lillian Force. Don lived in Prospect, Eagle Point, Central Point, and Grants Pass. He married Vera Force on June 20, 1956, in Reno, Nev. He worked for the State Highway Department. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, gardening, crossword puzzles, and spending time with his family.
Don is survived by his sons, Mike, Sr. (Julie) Force, of Kirkland, Wash. and Pat (Mindy) Force, of Eugene, Ore.; sister, Dorothy Clover; and grandchildren, Jessica (Scott) Marshall, of Salem, Ore., Mike Force, of Kirkland, Wash., Daniel Force, of Corvallis, Ore.; Nathan Force, of Eugene, Ore. and Wesley Force, of Eugene, Ore. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vera Force; brother, Kenneth Force; and sister, Beverly Bishop.
A viewing will be held from 3-7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2009 at Hillcrest Memorial Park. A funeral service will be held Friday, May 15, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Hillcrest Memorial Park Chapel.
