Dolora "Dollie" Grace Crooke
Dollie Crooke, 93, passed away peacefully in the arms of Jesus, July 21, 2011, at her home in Medford, Oregon. She was born in Arnett, Oklahoma August 10,1917, to David and Vema Cooper, moved to Roseburg, Oregon in 1921, and relocated to Medford in 1937. She was married to Bernard Wild from 1940 until his death in 1967, later she married John Crooke in 1969 until his death in 1991.
She had 3 sisters and one brother, all who passed away previously. She spent many years working as a hairdresser, ultimately retiring as a Medical secretary. But her favorite job was being a Mom and a Grandma!
Dollie loved fishing, dancing, gardening, camping, rock collecting, nik-naks, baseball, bowling, traveling and spending time with her loved ones.
She is survived by her Daughter - Delo Wild Son - Duke Wild Granddaughters - Roniq Bartanen, Breena Stuart, Brande' Austin Wild Grandsons - Shadrack Wild, Damon Wild, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins And her Love-mate of 18 years - Frank Couch.
A Memorial to honor her life will be held Saturday,September 10, 2011, 11:00 am, at Hillcrest Memorial Park Chapel, 2201 North Phoenix Road, Medford, OR. 97504. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to "Providence Hospice" PO Box 4548, Medford, OR. 97501
