Deloris "Jeannie" Hart, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away unexpectedly at her home in White City, Ore., Monday, August 27, 2012, at the age of 73. She was born in Portland, Ore., June 17, 1939, to Richard Carmean and Margorie Jorgensen.
Jeannie is survived by her five children, Pamela Shields, of Dunsmuir, Calif., Kellie Arnold, of White City, Ore., Olen Shields Jr., of Central Point, Ore., Richard Shields, of Copperas Cove, Texas, and Michael Shields, of Eagle Point, Ore.; three sisters, Lilly Betts, of White City, Ore., Kae Walker, of Oakhurst, Calif., and Phyliss Gaylor, of Vancouver, Wash.; and one brother, Phillip Brown, of Reno, Nev. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Hart; and her brother, Richard Carmean Jr. In 1970, Jeannie moved to Medford, Ore., with her five children and raised them on her own. She was a strong woman and taught her children strong values. She was a loving mother, and an amazing woman, who will be forever deeply missed.
