David Alfred Wilson, age 92 years, passed Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016 at Timberwood Memory Care in Albany, Oregon from complications of Alzheimer's disease. He was born June 12, 1923 in Westham, England to Walter Charles Wilson and Louisa Mary Ann Brown. He served in the British Royal Air Force during WWII. David immigrated to Canada after the war where he met & married Dorothy Mae Hollingshead who preceded in death. They came to America in 1959. He had worked as a tool cutter-grinder 1st for Clary's Manufacturing in San Gabriel, CA. then Spectra Physics in Sunnyvale, CA. David enjoyed stamp collecting, long walks and travel.
Survivors include his daughter Susan Wilson and her husband Terry Colbert of Corvallis, OR, grandson Justin Colbert, great grandchildren Lexi Witt and Logan Colbert. He was preceded by his parents, wife Dorothy and son Patrick.
Memorial services will be from 10:00am to 12:00pm, Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016 at the Hillcrest Memorial Chapel, 2201 N. Phoenix Rd, Medford, OR. He will be laid to rest in Hillcrest Memorial Park beside his wife Dorothy and son Patrick.
