He was born Feb. 19, 1963 in Escondido, CA to Huntley Hubbard Barns & Evelyn Palmer Grimes. He worked at Littrell auto parts in Medford. Clay enjoyed sports and played softball on the Medford Jokers team.
He is survived by his parents, two daughters; Mallory Wescom and Chelsea Barns, brothers Gary Barns and Bryan Barns and sister Missy McKenzie.
