Clara M. Snyder

Clara May Snyder, 75, longtime Prospect resident passed Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010 at Providence Medford Medical Center in Medford. Clara was born in Medford on Sept. 8, 1934 to Vic & Velma(Mead) Chapman. She grew up,went to school and lived most of her life in Prospect, OR. On Dec. 5, 1952 in Prospect she married Roger Alan Snyder who preceded her in 1997. Clara worked for years at the old Prospect store. She enjoyed the outdoors picking berries, fishing, hunting and cooking. She had been a member of the Prospect Lioness Club. Clara is survived by a son Jaime Snyder of Central Point, OR., two grandchildren; Emily Elizabeth Snyder and Jesse Alan Snyder, two sisters Lavina Chapman of Prospect, OR., and Lola Derosier of John Day, OR., three brothers Dale Chapman, Cliff Chapman and Duane Chapman all of Prospect.
