Chester Nolan Henson

Chester Nolan Henson, 86, of Eagle Point died Tues. May 31st at Providence Hospital, Medford, Oregon. Born Feb. 1st 1925 in Bizmark, Arkansas, to Joshua and Grace (Allen) Henson. In 1941 he married Nancy Ophelia Norwood. They moved to Oregon in 1949, settling in the Rogue Valley in 1956. Mr. Henson worked for Cascade Wood Prodncts for 23 years. After 57 years. of marriage, his wife Nancy passed away in 1998. In 1999 he married Juanita Sue (Taylor) DiMambro. He was twice blessed. Mr. Henson was a member of 1st Assembly of God Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Survived by his wife Sue, his little sister Evalee Carter of Oklahoma, his two sons John David Henson of La Pine, Calvin Dean Henson of Bend, and daughter Bonnie Jean Miller of Medford, 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grand children. In union with Sue, 4 stepchildren, Lisa, Renata, Mario, and Wendy, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. Predeceased by two brothers, Lewis and Lloyd, three sisters, Edna, Betty, and Lavern, his daughter Joyce Lee Kinnanan, and his son Chester Nolan Henson, Jr. Services will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2011, 2:00 pm at Hillcrest Memorial Park Chapel, Medford, Oregon.
