Cecil Ray Brummett Jr.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Cecil R. Brummett on Sunday August 16, 2020 after reaching the age of 88 years old.Cecil was born on May 27, 1932 in Oklahoma. Cecil’s family moved out west to California during the Great Depression.  During tough times Cecil’s family travelled the West looking for work; it was during these travels, in Lakeview OR, that Cecil met the love of his life, Sharon Williams.Cecil and Sharon were married for 58 years, until her death in 2013. Cecil is survived by three children Steve, Rick and Sherry. Cecil was “Papa” to 9 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.Cecil loved travel, a good western and spending time with his family. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Biden/Harris campaign. Alternately donations may be made to The Arbor Day Foundation.A memorial will be held at a future date.
