Where I'm from Poem
I am from worn rifles, still caked in mud, from Winchester ammunition to Ibanez guitars. I am from the worn apartment covered in snow and surrounded by wilderness. I am from the frozen tundra and sparse trees, the land of massive Moose and Bears wandering through trees and emptiness. I am from cold mornings at church, never making a sound, from Carla, Juanita, and Bill. I am from the reading of books and after church get togethers. From "The Bible says" to "listen better In church. I'm from crosses, representing the beliefs of family going generations back. I'm from hard working Americans, from potato salad to banana bread.
