Bud L. Kaufman, 84, of Medford, OR passed peacefully at his home Thursday, Oct. 25, with his family at his side. He was born June 13, 1934 in Inglewood, CA. to parents Fred and Kay (Beubian) Kaufman. While still in their teens, Bud and good friend Dwain Cross started Cross & Kaufman Logging Co. which is now Croman Corp. Bud and Dwain are legends in the logging community and spent their lives logging in southern Oregon and northern California. He also was one of the founders of Peoples Bank in 1998 and served on the board of directors until July 2018. He is survived by his wife, Marionann (Thompson) Kaufman; six children; Nancy Zelazny, Kurt Kaufman, Kory Kaufman, Tony Lausmann, Craig Lausmann and Sharon Lausmann; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Memorial services are planned for 12:00PM, Saturday, Nov. 10th, 2018 at Table Rock Fellowship, 3610 N. Pacific Highway, Medford, OR.
