Betty L. Holt

Betty Leone Holt, 86, of Central Point, OR. passed Wednesday, June 10, 2009. Betty was born Jan. 16, 1923 in Windom, MN. In 1943 she married Mervin C. Holt who preceded in 1995. She had worked for the Oakland Army Base in Oakland, CA, many years ago. She came to Southern Oregon nearly 20 years ago from Port Orchard, WA. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Medford. Betty enjoyed sewing, gardening, baking and service to her church. Survivors include three children, son Curtis Holt of Tracy, CA., son Roger Holt of Castro Valley, CA., and daughter Carol Alves of Pleasanton, CA., five grandchildren and two great grandchildren, a sister Audrey Jurgens of Windom, MN., brother Ralph Robinson of Windom, MN., brother George Robinson of Lakewood, OH. Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM Friday, June 19, 2009 at the Hillcrest Memorial Park Chapel. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
