Barbara Jean Owen (Pritchard)

Barbara Jean Owen slipped peacefully away in the early morning hours of January 26th. She was 77 years old. Barbara was born in Sacramento, CA in 1935, the youngest child of Robert and Pauline Pritchard.
Barbara met the love of her life James Keith Owen, and they were happily married for 61 years.
She worked many years as a teachers's aide for the Central Point School District. She loved spending time with her family, friends and she was an avid traveler.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jim, children Lori Dean (Larry), Doug Owen (Tara) and Julie Baayoun. She is also survived by her siblings, William Pritchard, Mary Lou Caccamo and Virginia Erickson. She had a special relationship with all of her grandchildren, Anna Hobbs, Alex Parke, Shelby Owen, Allison Baayoun and Zak Baayoun. She also found great joy in her two great-grandchildren Presten and Ryder Hobbs.
Services for Barbara will be held on Saturday, February 2, 21013 at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Hillcrest Mortuary Chapel, 2201 No. Phoenix Road, Medford, Oregon 97501 541-773-6161.
