Alvine Larson

Alvine G Larson, 84, of Medford, Ore., passed away Monday, August 15, 2011, at Northridge Assisted Living, with her son at her side. Alvine was born January 12, 1927, in La Moure, N.D., to Ibel & Alsena Nannenga. She married Kenneth Larson, which ended in 1977. She started in the nursing field and worked in private practice, and then worked at Rogue Valley Medical Center where she retired. She participated in the Foster Grandparent Program at Washington Elementary School, and also was a member of the Ascension Lutheran Church in Medford.
Alvine is survived by two sons, Terry R. Larson, of Medford Ore., and Larry K. Larson of Bothell, Wash.; two grandchildren, Mia Rae Larson and Rilan Joseph Larson of Medford Ore.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, August 26, 2011 at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary, 2201 N. Phoenix Rd, Medford. Pastor Robert Larson (retired) will officiate.
