Agnes Ernestine Webb Passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, August 4, 2008, at the age of 94. Agnes was born on Feb. 20, 1914, to John and Mamie Bennett in Keytesville, Mo., where she grew up and completed her education. She moved to Klamath Falls, Ore., in the early 1940's and then to Medford, Ore., where she met and married her husband, Larry E. Webb. They resided in Oakland, Vallejo and later San Jose, Calif. until the 1980's when they returned to Medford to retire. Agnes loved knitting, "treasure hunting" at garage sales and spending time with her family. She was a member of P.E.O., a community service organization, for 45 years, serving as treasurer for many of those years. She volunteered over 4000 hours with the Rogue Valley Hospital Auxiliary, was a Lady Elk and a member of the United Methodist Church of Medford. Agnes is survived by two sons, Albert R. Webb, of Central Point, Ore., and Donald G. Webb, of Rancho Mirage, Calif., two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Webb, brothers, John L., William and Herman Bennett; sisters, Anna Mae Roselle, and Mary Catherine Cook. A funeral will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2201 N. Phoenix Rd., Medford, on Friday, August 8, 2008, at 1:30 p.m. Reverend Dorita Betts Borgenson of First United Methodist will be officiating.
